This is an old kenmore that's probably going to be replaced soon but I was wondering what might be causing this. The drum seems to be bouncing around in there pretty heavily and it makes a serious racket. You can quiet it down by the slightest pressure on the chassis to jack the chassis a different way but then it just starts up again 30 seconds later. I've tried leveling it but that doesn't seem to help any. Could a main bearing be shot and the drum just has too much play in there?
