I am having a very difficult time finding a replacement bedroom door for my 1969 Rollaway mobile home. The size is odd, 27 1/2 x 78 1/2 - 1 1/2 inches thick. Any suggestions would be helpful. Mountain View, CA

Home Depot sells 28" interior doors, however they are not stocked at the store. You order and pay, (about $40) then get them a week later at no extra charge. You may be able trim it down and get it to fit.

Welcome to the forum
You basically have 2 choices. Buy a standard door and cut it down. Cut the height off of the bottom and then either reinsert the bottom piece or cut a new one to fit. By doing this on the bottom you won't notice if you don't get it perfect. The styles [frame] are usually about 1" thick so you can trim 1/4" of each side. Re use your old hinges or buy new non mortising hinges. If there is a mobile home supply house near you they usually have or can order a trailer door for you. :)

Thanks for the advise, the first place I looked was Home Depot, they are 1/2 inch too big all around.
I have a door that I can swap out and put one of those accordian slider doors in it's place. I wonder why it is so difficult to find replacements (ovens) etc. for mobile homes, nothing seams to be standard or is there such a thing for mobile homes?

Mobile homes do not share common components with residential housing. You will find this to be painfully true when it comes to bathtubs, furnaces and other fixtures.
