I am going to do my patio with 7' x 34' , my question is how many tons of base rock do I need ? ( 4 inches high ) and 2 inches of level sand. please give me an average price for total.

You need about 3 cubic yards of base stone and half that of sand. My area cost for each is about $25/ yard plus $50 delivery. Get some extra if your base will be wider than your finished patio.

7*34=238 square ft
238/3=79.3 cubic ft
79.3/27=2.9 cubic yards
(hope i did that correctly)

1 yards of stone or sand is about 1.5 tons
