I spilled/splattered whiteout all over the side of a black leather ottoman and don't know how to clean it off. The care instructions for the furniture says don't even use soap.

Any suggestions? It looks bad.

The usual recommendation for removing White Out is acetone. This is a solvent. Solvents are not recommended for leather. Anything strong enough to remove the White Out will likely damage both the dye and the leather. Because there are so many different types of leathers, dyes, and finishes, leather manufacturers recommend professional leather cleaning.
