Am going to replace 20+yr storm windows with double hung, double pane windows. Have choice between Simonton & Certainteed brands. Anyone have experience with either of these brands? Am extremely grateful for any information.

I have never heard of Simonton so I can't offer you any advice there but I have installed quite a few certainteed Bryn Mawr II windows. I put a certainteed bay in my own house last year and have been happy with it.I use alot of certainteed products roofing , siding , windows and they are all high quality.
