Any ideas for sprucing up our 1960s aluminum screen porch? It is still structurally OK. Has 12 aluminum screen and glass panels and 2 doors. All are plain aluminum inside and out. I have read that paint won't hold. Any thoughts about siding or trimming? The supports are also aluminum.

Also the previous owner painted the underside of the corrogated fiberglass ceiling. I guess to better block the sun. The paint is drooping in a couple places but tight in most. What should I repaint with?

I'm in Michigan where the winters are cold and the money is always tight.

Thanks!

Look into mosquito curtains. Cheaper than replacing existing screen porch. Removable and washable. www.mosquitocurtains.com
