I have a very large living room. We have a huge mantle around our fireplace, and we have just painted the room a very cheerful yellow. Today I purchased drapes with a yellow background with huge pink and green floral bursts. What color/pattern area rug should I get to go with the drapes?

Also, what's already on the floor? It is wood? What type of wood/stain? And what's the trim color in the room?
