--I am presently using a general contactor. The stucco crew (subcontractors) put in one session recently, and have (quote) "done both the scratch coat and the brown coat in one day"-- this sounds suspicious to me; several lath wires are showing, and two vinyl window frames protrude 1/2" above surface. I think it needs more "mud" before it's color-coated. Anyone ever hear of doing "Scratch and Brown coat in one day ?"--should I insist on another coat before I let him apply color? --
