I am looking for recommendatons/feedback on a new patio door. We're looking for a french door with blinds between the glass. Two local retailers have competing steel doors with in-glass blinds (jeld-wen and reliabilt) both about the same price. I've been googling and can find no references to these products or competitors - reviews, product descriptions ... anything. The manufacturers' websites don't even reference these products. With 3 kids in daycare, we're trying to keep it cheap and realize that steel is not a high-end solution. Anyone have anything to tell me good or bad about steel patio doors with tilt/raise blinds between the glass?

thanks

uiplanner,

I'm a window and door installer north of Omaha, but am not 100% familiar with those brands. However, it seems that Jeld-wen's web site does show info on their steel exterior french doors under their exterior doors section (courtyard collection).

Lowes carries the Reliabilt doors and they also have details regarding them on their website. Good luck with your project.
