I have a guest house. Removing makeup from sheets and towels is a constant challenge. I have used detergent with bleach and/or oxy-clean. Nothing seems to take out the stains. Another stain is henna from temporary tattoos. So far, impoossible to remove. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Pretreat with heavy duty liquid laundry detergent. Let set. Wash in hottest water appropriate for fabric with detergent and 2 cups ammonia. (Never mix chlorine bleach & ammonia as together they create a toxic gas.) Check for stains. Rewash if necessary with detergent and ammonia.
Henna is a dye. Unfortunately, it is permanent. Henna is used to stain wood and dye fabrics and textiles.
