Hi All,
I am building a BBQ bar and am at the point where I am ready to grout the cultured stone. MY cultured stone is a river rock with many random joints. My question is what should I use to grout the stone? I have type-s mortar but before I go ahead and start and wanted to check in with the experts :)
Thanks in advance for your help.

Since no masons have as yet replied I'll try to. Type s is good strong mortar but I don't know for sure about heat resistence. Use a grout bag for ease of applying.

Thanks Mark --- I'm not too concerned about the heat resistance, as I have a layer of 3/4 inch cement board between the cultured stone and the BBQ unit.
Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.
