We have vertical blinds made by Delmar and need to remove the vertical slats. Does anyone know how we can do that and be able to reinstall the slats without damage?

Look carefully at the top of the slats. I had vertical blinds in my apartment and the tops had a notch hole. Each slat locked into a clip that was on the sliding track. I could easily take them on and off. Maybe you'll get lucky and have the same style.

try using a credit card and slide it into the groove that holds the vertical slat in place. push both the slat and the cc up until the slat releases, then while keeping the credit card pushed up, pull the slat out. not sure what your slat holders look like but that works on some brands.
