Any advice/tips on how to get a make-up stain out of a polyester dress??

I'm in the military and we have a white polly. uniform that is always get things on it. I've had a lot of luck using the various "Shout" products. The shout wipes work great for little things, and the shout scrub (the gel with the scrubing top) for bigger things. My take on trying things is "It's already ruined, what harm could it do?"

If garment is washable, pretreat stain with heavy duty liquid laundry detergent and let set. Then, wash according to label directions. Repeat if necessary.
