Hi, I have Natural Gas Hot Water and there just doesn't seem to be enough hot water for 4 showers in the am. The 1st and 2nd showers are fine, but the last 2 get cold. I believe each shower is about 5 minutes long. I don't think its
always been that way and the amount of hot water decreased slowly over time, but its kinda hard to tell.
Any help wouild be great,
TIA
Steve

You could do a draw down test. If my memory serves me right you drain approximately 2/3 of your water heater at any faucet and you should not experience more than 10 degrees or so drop in temperature. After 2/3 you should experience rapid temp loss and run out of hot water. This would be an acceptable condition.
If you find you loose temp faster than above check your dip tube.
