Here's the deal:
I bought a house that already has a greenhouse. this is the lean-to type that has a front and back entrance, has electricity flowing through it from my house and automatic roof-shutter openers. The problem is that I don't know how to shut off the timer. It's the kind that looks like a dial that has the hours of the day (12pm - - - 3pm - - - 6pm - - - 9pm, etc) as markers for time setting. There doesn't seem to be an "off" option on this thing. The lights come on daily at 1:15pm! How can I disable this? Better yet, how can I disable the electricity in the green house? It doesn't have its own meter so I can't have con edison turn it off.
Obviously, I have no experience with this sort of thing! Thanks for your help!

repairme,
How you set your time clock will depend on what make and model it is.
If you do a Google search with your timer make and model you could provide us with a link to it.
The power to the green house likely comes from the main power panel in your house.
If it isn't labelled you would need to turn off individual breakers untill you hit the correct one.

Great suggestions! I will be sure to jot down the make and model as well as check out which breakers to shut down!
