I am trying to fit a skirting board to a replastered wall by using "no more nails". It worked okay for a while but now the gaps between the wall and the wood are excessive so it will not stick. What should I do?

Was the plaster relatively fresh when you tried to glue up? If it was, I can understand why the glue failed. What choice, other than caulking the gaps, is there except to remove, wait a while andthen replace? The plaster should cure for at least a month or so before attempting to use
glue. If possible, use a few small brads next time.
