Hello,
I live in an apartment. So I put the stoller inside on the carpet and there are stains (brownish black) because of the tires of the stroller. Is there any way I could clean them?
Thanks,
Usha03

These sounds like to be just plain soil spots from the dirt on the tires. They should be easy to remove. Plain hot water and soap while blotting may even remove them. If not you can purchase a general carpet spotter, i reccommend a citris based spotter..just dont go cheap with it and get a watered down version. Apply to spot, a little goes a long way so not too much. Let sit 10-15 mins..just do not let dry. Return with some dry rags..blot until there is no more transfer and the spot is gone. Repeat as needed. Afterwards, take a rag wet it slightly and blot the remaining residue. Never rub the spot it may spread. But sounds like a pretty easy spot to remove.

I did not try your suggestion yet. But the stains are from the "unused" stroller tires.

Joneq uses a cleaner from the depot. It is in the rug section. It is in a plastis spray bottle. Folex is the name. Hasn't really let me down yet. great for upholstery and clothes too.

Thats a very odd stain from unused tires. Where they wet when this happened? I would still try the neutral cleaner.

If stains are rubber marks from tires, use white rag and solvent cleaner like denatured alcohol or dry cleaning fluid. Blot from outside stain toward middle to prevent spreading.
If stains are soil, mix 1 teaspoon dish liquid in one cup lukewarm water. Blot from outside stain toward middle with white rag. Continue to blot until soil is removed. Blot with plain water to rinse. Any detergent residue left in carpet will attract soil and cause rapid resoiling. Or, blot with enzyme digester cleaner. The trick to using enzyme cleaners is to give the enzymes time to digest the organic stain. Avoid oversaturating carpet. If in doubt, contact a professional carpet cleaner.
