hey guys, for my custom hot tub project, I'm wondering whether or not there is a specific type of wood that is best suited for this. in my mind, i can see the whole frame being out of wood, and the inside of the tub being that same wood, with some cushioning and lining around it. this will be difficult to make for me, but any tips on the type of wood to use?

i assume different woods have different aspects of water absorption? other than that, they're all prob. similar as far as load bearing characteristics i am assuming.
