A 2 year old whirlpool should still be covered under parts and tank warranty. Why not take advantage of this?

May I inquire why you need a new burner assembly. Is this a "FVIR" style water heater?

basically i've replaced the thermalcouple, control box and still pilot wont stay lit so i'm guessing the burner or pilot connection is messed up not sure just figured that as a last shot to fix it. its flamlock not sure if thats what your asking

Well if you have replaced the t'couple and thermostat and the pilot still won't stay on. Hmmm Whirlpool used a thermostat that will only accept a left handed t'couple that has a built in fuse link. Are you sure the t'couple is in the pilot flame and is snuggly tighten into thermostat?
