I had a cat that decided to do its business in the furnace ducts, all of them! :wall: I was wondering if anyone would have an idea about cleaning it out or will i have to replace the ducting ( my basement is unfinished ) :) I have tried some urine cleaning spray and bleach but it did not seam to work. Is there anyone who could help??

If you can get at the areas he went at. I would go with a protein enzyme. Let it dwell 10-15 mins and have at it with a rinse. Only problem is..since we are talking about a furnance system. If you miss anything its going to come back the second you turn it on. More so since it will be passing heat over the area. I would try that a few times and in the end you may have to remove the duct work take outside and blow it out with protein cleaner and water. If all else fails a professional can come in and deodorize the duct work im sure with a ozone treatment.

Protein cleaners can be found at your local pet store or home improvement store.

PS. Find the area were he is getting into and fix it. Im sure you already have!

You can type in 'Canada enzyme cleaners' in your search engine. Kleen Kill is one brand that comes up. Go to your local pet for pet mess cleaner, janitorial supply, hardware or home center and ask for an enzyme digester cleaner.
