I'm trying to determine what size circuit I need to run for you average 2-3 TON condensor and paired furnace.

I haven't purchased the equipment yet, but I want to start watching ebay for good deals on breakers and disconnects.

I guessed that the condensor would need 50-60 amp and the furnace would need 15.

Seem about right? In case it matters, I am looking at a TRANE 14 SEER condensor and matching 2-stage furnace.

Don't waste your time on e-bay for such little stuff. Breakers are available at any home improvement store at a very reasonable cost. Your guess on the furnace is probably about right but on the outdoor unit, you are way high. 20-30 amps (double pole) would be a lot closer.
