American Yard Products mower (KGro) won't start. I can jump from the + battery to the starter and it starts and runs. The mower has three switches that need to be set to start. If the switches are set the selenoid clicks and that is all. Any help on what to consider next?

mexico1996,
If you can start by jumping the postive terminal of the battery to starter, the selenoid contacts are at fault. God Bless. Hope this helps.

If I'm only getting a click a the selenoid could one of the switches be bad in as much as it is not giving a strong enough signal or is this an all or nothing type thing? Would a volt meter at the selenoid tell me anything. I'm trying to be as sure as possible before I go looking for parts which is no easy task.
Any help would be appreciated. I have schematics but no manual.

You have either a bad solenoid, or bad connection or wire from the solenoid to the starter.
