Hi-
I'm just about done with my Manual J calculation and now I need to layout my ductwork. I've never done this before and rather than crawl up into my friends house's attics to take a look, I thought someone might know of some online example layouts?

If I can see the basics, then I could apply those rules to my situation. I just need a kick start. If anyone has a link or a sample they could send, that would be very much appreciated.

Try this http://warmair.net/ look at the duct work there. It will give you size for the CFM in the ducts.
