I have a weedeater FL 1500 that is almost new as far as use. It won't fire.
I've checked the spark plug and it is getting fuel.. I'm afraid the electronic ignition has gone bad.
Any other ideas?
How can I check the coil?
Thanks

Are you making sure the plug is touching a metal part of the engine when you test for spark? If not, it will not spark. To check the coil, unplug the kill wire from the coil and check for spark again. If still none, the coil is bad.

I'll second Cheese's statement, provided the coil air gap is correct.
