I have dual sinks in newer bathroom where 1 of them smells like the sewer when I run the water. Doesn't smell ever if no water is run. I have all the vents and plumbing done properly so what would be the cause of this? This started about 2 months after installation.

Try This - Remove the drain stopper from the sink and plug off the overflow drain with a rag. Next, fill the overflow cavity of the sink with a strong bleach solution and let set or 20-30 minutes. Remove rag and reinstall the drain stopper.
