We moved into our new house 3 years ago, and since that time the kohler whirlpool bath has never worked. If you push the start button you simply hear a low buzzing noise coming from the motor, but no water coming from the jets. Is there something I can do to fix this or do I need to replace the motor?

Have a electrician inspect the pump motor to determine if it is a electrical problem with the pump, or a jammed impeller.

Not to hijack the thread, but I have the same problem with a Kohler jet tub motor. I replaced the circuit board and capacitor, but not even a buzz out of the motor that suddenly stopped. Wasn't really used much since new either. It runs off 110-125 volt outlet which is working fine.

They don't make the pump/motor assembly anymore (just my luck) and even if they did they're crazy expesnive. Is there a good website for locating used jet tub pump motors or even motor rebuild kits? I'm not having any luck with Ebay or craigslist so far.
