The bathroom is located right behind the washroom downstairs concrete slab. When I cycle the washer machine the toilet bubbles or overflows. Is there any suggestions?

I called the home warranty issuer; they only covered breaks and leaks in drain lines “not clogs.” So, the home warranty company sent a professional plumber out, and he charged me 180 dollars to run a metal line up the sewer drain tube. It took about twenty minutes, and the problem seems solved.

Update: Temporarily solved: One week later I was washing cloths, and I was about to go down stairs when I notice water running onto the wood floor out from the down stairs bathroom. The problem has returned! Why does the drain line continue to back up? The plumber suggests I pay him an additional 250.00 to use a camera. Is there any suggestions?

Sorry we didn't get to your question sooner. :wall:

Glad to hear that they solved your problem.

I would of advised drain cleaning as well.
