I'm in need of the wire diagram for this lawn tractor. My dog got into the engine area and destroyed the wire harness that connects to the float for the carburetor and I believe the points that charge the battery. I have one black,White,red,red/black,2 yellow wires. On the engine side I have a red and black wire that come from the points and a gray wire that runs to the float. On the connector with the gray wire I have a black wire that goes to the stator (spark plug). If someone has a mower of the same type and can send me a picture or description that would be great.

Model 608? MTD should have a label under the seat or on the rear of the mower with a model and serial #
Use those #'s at this site http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/public/list.jsp
and look at the owners or IPL manuals, usually one of them will have a schematic. Also u can usually find the wiring harnes in the IPL and get some ideas of plugs and such.
