I'm trying to get my garage door keypad setup. I've followed the instructions, replaced the battery, tried it on several channels and confirmed the garage opener is using the same channel yet it won't work. Is there any third party keypad I could install?

There are several "universal " keypad setups that you can choose from. They are going to be the wired type rather than the wireless that you most likely have now. One unit that I use and have had little or no problems with is the Liftmaster 65LM wired keypad.
About the keypad you have now. Maybe the keypad is bad. If you state the make/model of your machine maybe we can find a better solution.
