I HAVE A INGROUND POOL. I NOTICED SAND NEAR MY BACKWASH PIPE IS THIS BAD THANKS. :eek:

assuming you have a sand filter , normally you should not loose any sand , the sand in your filter should be # 20 silica sand , if this is what your seeing you may have a broken lateral, if you havn't changed the sand in 4 yrs or more its time to replace it and you can inspect the internal parts at the same time ,
