I just installed a DSC 832 series system with a LCD5500 keypad. I am trying to program the system. I have setup all the zones and basic setup steps. However, when I do the self test, it says trouble with the phone line. I do not have have phone line connected to the system as of yet. Is there a way to disable this temporarily? The trouble light is on and will not go to ready until all issues are resolved. Thanks for the help. JH

DSC ships their panels with communications defaulted on. Go to section 015 turn off option 7 (telephone line monitoring). Go to section 380 and turn off option 1 (communications enabled)
