I replaced my glow ignitor in my kenmore oven about 3-4 months ago. Everything work fine until a few days ago. The oven will not light. The glow plug does not get hot and glow. I have a tester that will beep and flash when ac power is present. It does this when I turn my oven on and I would assume that the glow ignitor is getting power. I tested the ignitor in an elec.outlet and it will glow and get hot. Any suggestions??

Assuming you have all controls calling for heat, I would probably take the wires off the gas valve and do a continuity check. (with unit unplugged) If it shows open there is your problem. Or you can take a voltage read across the valve and if there is 120 volts present than it is an open in the valve.
