I'm getting "check" error messages displaying on my ADT Safewatch Pro 3000 which show many different zone numbers (scrolls through 05, 06, 15, 32, 33, etc.) I only have 5 zones (01-04, and 09 for smoke detector)???!! I have some hardwood floor work being done, and they tripped one of my circuit breakers several times during the day while sanding the floors. I vacuumed the head of the smoke detector and tried to have system reset thinking that was the problem, but no change. Any ideas?

Do you have wireless or hardwired zones?

hard wired to front door, back door, and garage door, and motion detector.... wireless to smoke detector on 2nd floor.

If those are the only things in your system, then there's most certainly something odd going on. Have you tried something as simple as a full power down (unplug battery, then AC power, wait a few then power back up in reverse order) and restart?
It almost sounds like you are running on the remnants of a failing battery.

Thanks for the suggestion..... I will try it today when I get home from work. I thought about replacing the fuse that is associated with the battery (3 amp). It didn't appear to be blown however. I will try powering down and let you know what happens. It would be great if I could avoid a $70 service call.

Mr. Ron... thanks so much!!! Your suggestion worked! I disconnected the battery, turned off the breaker... then re-powered. Thank you so much!
