Hi Group,
We live in a 100+ year old farmhouse with a seperate garden shed. The shed is post and beam, and is starting to lean to one side as the posts have begun to sink/rot.
I'm thinking of cutting the posts off 6" above the ground, digging and pouring pier foundations and anchoring the posts to the new foundation pours.
What do you all think? Anyone ever done a similar project? Things to consider?
Thanks for your feedback!!

100+ years old?? If it were in my back yard, the old shed would be in the firewood box and a new one would be taking it's place.
