I would greatly appreciate any help. I have an older style (50's/60's) bath/shower. Separate hot and cold handles with the shower handle between the hot and cold. I started getting a leak and decided to replace the inside of the handles, the threaded components and washers. Since that time, I have very little water pressure from the hot water. The cold water seems fine. I only get a drip of hot water from the bath faucet and from the shower. How do I restore water pressure? Did I replace things incorrectly? Should there be good water pressure when the handles are removed (With only the pipes protruding)? What would the problems and solutions be for these issues? I only have one bath and desperately require assistance. Thank you in advance.

 Well, thanks anyways. I thought I might at least get one response with some helpful advice, or any advice at all would have been nice. But thanks anyways. Solved my issues with my shower and tub the DIY way...I did it myself! For anyone who may have similar issues at some stage, here is my advice:
1. Check for a clogged pipes that go beyond the taps and inserts.
2. Check for a bolt that might be stuck within the pipe (which will be easy to remove with long-nosed pliers without the fear of pushing it further in the pipes) as the new type tap pieces, which replace the old 50's and 60's style, have loose connections which will plug up your pipes and are not necessary to begin with. (Found that out the hard way!)
3. Make sure your water main is OFF before attempting any procedures.

Thanks again, no hard feelings, just disappointed is all.... :)

Take the faucet off at the tub and expose the pipe and and beat it with a wrench while the water is running. It is probably just packed with debri.
