This just started recently. Whenever I flush either of my two toilets, the pipes bang when the tank has finished filling up. The toilets were replaced last summer so they are fairly new. The pipes do not bang with any other fixture in the house, only the toilets. I would greatly appreicate any advice on how to fix this. Just as general informaion, there hasn't been any other plumbing work done recently in the house and I am on city water. Thanks.

TonyNH, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
Try turning off the supply to one of the toilets and then flushing the other one. If you only get noise from one being flushed, change the fill valve on that toilet. They go bad and it doesn't matter what the age is. Good luck.

Also might try. Turn the water off to the cold water lines in the home and open all the coldwater valves and see if they can drain down. Some times the anti -hammer stub gets full of water and has no air in it to stop the hammer.
