Not sure what happened to the original thread, but, after I kill the Zoysia with Roundup, what do I need to do to prepare the lawn for new fescue sod? How do I deal with the dead Zoysia?

Do contact the following as zoysia grass is a variety we do not deal with up here in the cold north. I know it is a deep rooted grass.
RoundUp is a product we use to kill any unwanted vegetation - broadleaf or grass type. It is non-selective; however, and can't tell the difference between a weed and your best landscape plant. Do follow all label instructions. Since zoysia is deep rooted call 1-800-225-2883 (customer service number for RoundUp). They will be able to give you specific advice re: zoysia.
Also, do contact your local nursery or garden center (not big box store). There may be a better product in your area that they are familiar with and they can also tell you the steps you will need to take.
