Lighting, Light Fixtures, Ceiling and Exhaust Fans - How would I wire mutiple lights in a room to turn on by a central source

I have 5 different lights in my room that is plugged in and has a switch to turn on. They're in different places in the room and I would have to always hit all the switches for each of them to turn on.

So I was wondering if there was any way to have them be turned by a remote or something of that sort without me having to go all around my room just to turn on each light that I wanted on.
