I need some advice on how to prepare a latex painted concrete foundation for new acrylic latex paint please. I have a pressure washer I will rinse with , but need advice on what cleaner to use before hand. Iv seen home brews of bleach, dish soap and water but since I don't have a recipe I thought I would buy some TSP. and hand wash with a brush and rinse with the power washer. The concrete is not flat, but has a deep brick pattern.
Is this a good method to insure the paint will stick well?
Thanks before hand..

you can use the tsp but rinse well. No need for a pressure washer. Use a hose. It will splash less dirt back up on the wall. If you have peeling paint use a wire brush before cleaning. If no mildew you don't need bleach but a little cant hurt
