Yesterday I had an exterminator spray the dirt floor in my crawl space, today it is still damp. Can I still place my plastic vapor barrier down, or do I need to wait until it drys?

Thanks!

Thanks Ed, I wish I would have known about this site earlier today and I would not have wasted it. It's too late now to go to work, but tomorrow morning I'll be well into it.

Just a thought. I think I would call the guy who applied the chemical to

your crawl space. If he was certified to apply it, he's the guy who should

know how soon you should go down there. It may not have occurred to him

to tell you, up front, as a crawl space isn't most peoples favorite place to

hang out. I've tried to ''bone-up'' on Michigan's pesticide applicators rules,

but found the manuals to be a great cure for insomnia. I think it said

somewhere about not crawling around in it for a certain period of time.
