I have a Maytag Gas Dryer that is one year old. Recently, I have noticed that the clothes seem to be very hot when I take them out. The dryer vents down to the basement and across the basement to the back of the condo (approximately 30 feet). We took it all down and cleaned it out when we moved in a year ago. Could this be the problem now and if so, is there anything available to facilitate the cleaning of this venting?

For sure check that first. take all the vent pipe down and clean it. Any screen in the dryer thats jammed up there?

The lint screen is clean but I can see lint down inside where the lint screen goes. I can get a vaccuum cleaner attachment to get some of it, but not all. Is there any kind of tool that one can get to clean out this venting? I know 30 feet exceeds any recommendations but, unfortunately, all the interior condo units have this same venting.

Do you happen to know what kind of company I could have to come take a look at the venting and perhaps eliminate some of the elbows? I called a heating and cooling company and they said they don't do that.
