i just bought a 3 gal craftsman compressor on ebay and of course it showed up with a broke oil fill cap and oil in the box. i bought a new cap, but my question is, the site glass on the side has a red dot in the center, do i fill oil so that it covers the red dot or do i fill until glass is completely full?

Half way up the glass to the red dot would be the proper level.
