What manufacturer or manufacturers has developed the best paint to apply to a new wood siding in a snow climate? Thanks for your advice.

Use a good exterior oil base primer. Top coat with 1-2 coats of a good exterior latex. SWP's Duration is a good paint. Most any brands top of the line should give you satisfactory results. I prefer using a satin finish on siding because I believe it gives a little more protection than flat. :)

There are some great regional brands made specifically for regional climates
You may want to pop in your local paint shop (not a national chain) and ask around
