I have a covered porch (continuation of the house roof) with a poured concrete floor. It runs across the entire back of my house. I'm thinking to frame out and add walls and a door (using the house as my fourth wall) and create a shed on a portion of the patio. Any reason why I shouldn't do this? Anything I need to consider before tackling the job? Thanks.

That should work well. You may have to ventilate it well as moisture can come up through the cement if they didn't put a moisture barrier (plastic sheeting) under it. The slab should be above grade (above the earth around it) or termites will be hard to notice making their way in and it will be more susceptible to dry rot. Put in lots of glass or your house may be darker inside.

Thanks, JeffK. I never would've thought about the house getting darker.
