Hi, I'm putting down 3.5" wide X 6 foot, square edge, mahogany decking. Do I need to leave spave between each plank to allow for srinking and expanding (I'm in New England)?

This is twice today I've had to post "I don't know" as an answer. Go ask your supplier to be sure, but my GUESS is that you'll want to gap the boards with a 16d nail. Right now, in April, they will still be pretty wet, green and swollen. By July or August, they will shrink some. But by next Jan. or Feb., they will reswell. Because it's wood, I would leave a small gap.
