same as in most nothern climates. 42" below grade.

You KNOW that's a pretty generic answer. (But I'm in CA, and 'frostlines' are very rarely an issue around here. Now EARTHQUAKES ...) LOL!!

Go ask your local bldg. dept. They'll probably tell you 42", but at least now you'll know for sure!!

thanks for all your help. I asked when I picked up my permit. You were absolutely correct. It's 42"!!
