Hello,
I have PC 1555RKZ keypad with my alarm system. My long term plan is to enable the wireless capability of the 632. In order to do that I need to change the keypad to the LCD5501 1Z32.
I really need help in making this happen.
Will switching keypads require any changes to programming?
Is it as simple as moving the wires from one keypad to the next?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Until you actually use the wireless receiver in that keypad, I think the only thing that you will have to do is rerun the supervision routine, and reset the system clock (since you have to power down to change the keypad).

To power down, I take off the battery terminals and remove the transformer from the outlet?
And to power it up, I would connect the transformer and then the battery?

Yup. Alternately, you can take one of the wires off of the ac power terminals on the PC board, or throw the breaker for that outlet. It depends on which is easier.
