I work for a Hilton, well last night Jerry Seinfeld checked in at about midnight to help avoid a crowd, today when I get to work someone told me that one of the funniest comics was in the dining room having breakfast, well I said let me go and see for myself, sure enough it was him sitting with two of his bodyguards eating, I passed by his table and told him hello and he said hello how are you doing, that was it for now, he later left, he went through the lobby and no one noticed him being he was wearing a yellow baseball cap and sweats with dark glasses,he left the hotel for the day, later in the afternoon I was waiting for an elevator and when it opened it was him again, this time he's joking around with his guards all having a blast, spoke to him again for a few , I went back to work before getting fired.
About 3:00 this afternoon I get a call saying his a\c was making a loud noise, off I went, I knocked and one of the guards opened the door, as I was going in Jerry asked me to please get the noise to stop, not a problem I'll get it to stop, (bad squirrel cage)I told him that I would fix it as fast as I could, he said no rush to take my time which I did, I had a hard time doing this job with Jerry Seinfeld there with me but got it done.
He was a really cool and very nice guy.
I watched his sitcom "Seinfeld" a million times and never in my life thought I'd be working on Jerry Seinfeld's a\c
He offered me a tip, I turned it done because just meeting one of the funniest of all time was well enough for me

Very cool (no pun intended) story :D
Reminds me of a job I used to have as a maintenance man in a retirement center / nursing home. The late Chris Farley's grandmother lived there, and whenever he was in town, he would come over to visit. I saw him often enough that we were on a first-name basis. He even gave me one of his signed publicity photos which I hung in our workshop. During our lunch breaks, some of the other guys would fool around and throw darts at his photo (this did not make me happy). Not much later, he died. We pressed the dart holes as flat as possible, and framed his picture.
He was a truly nice and gentle man who loved his family very much.

Chris Farley was a real funny guy, it's a shame he died at such an early age.
I love his movies and when he was on Saturday Night Live

I envy you man, I am the biggest Andy Griffith fan on the planet,
Did you actually meet Andy?, When was this?
I watched every episode of the Andy Griffith show at least 20-40 times each and still love the show as the first time I ever saw one of his shows,
on the show you never heard anything about an a\c but one time their freezer was acting up, wasn't cooling anymore, after Gomer tried fixing it with out success Andy went out an bought another one, a brand new one as aunt Bee put it. (Smile)
That's cool.............
