My washer and dryer both went out in the same week
and I learned a valuable lesson, which is. Don't listen
to what your wife or husband or whoever is telling you,
but observe for yourself. Case in point. My wife said the
dryer was not drying the clothes. So I went to all the
"how to's" and "forums" to begin my repair quest. I was
prepared to buy a ohmeter and start all this troubleshooting.
Luckily I went down with her and asked her to show me
what it was doing. Come to find out it would heat when
you set it on 60 minutes & the burner quit at around 40 and
would come not back on. After it cut off I decided to set it back on
60 and it came right back on. I replaced the timer and it
is now fixed. So I gues what I am saying is the more info your
have, the closer you are to getting it right the 1st time.
Now I can relax again :coffee:
