I found a leak in my unit this weekend at the sight glass. I replaced the glass and the filter that was just before it, but I couldn't tell what direction the flow is going, this is on the small line (high I think) I have it flowing into the ground going into the house, and after we evac. and recharged the system the low side or large line is freezeing up. do I have the dryer on backwards? Please someone help.

if the suction line is freezing up, these are possible problems.

-Low on Charge
-Indoor blower is not running
-Dirty Air Fitler
-Poor air flow
-Temp is too low

You need a technician that can do the superheat or subcooling calculation to get it properly charged to the correct level.

Due to EPA regulations we cannot give you charging instructions.

Out of the box here. I dont think you are EPA or should be working on this AC.
I replaced the glass and the filter that was just before it, but I couldn't tell what direction the flow is going, this is on the small line (high I think)

Call a hvac tech in to fix it or go back to AC school.
The glass would show you how the flow goes and if the charge is good
